What are cookies?

Cookies are small text files stored on your device. This page also covers similar technologies we use, like browser local storage.

What this site actually sets

Your cookie choice itself — stored in your browser's local storage (not a cookie) as soon as you click Accept or Decline, so we don't ask you again. This is permitted without consent because it's strictly necessary to honour the choice you just made.
Newsletter signup form (MailerLite) — requires consent. Loads only on the Free Checklist page, only after you accept. Whatever cookies or storage MailerLite's own script sets once loaded are set by MailerLite, not by us directly.

What the banner does not control

Two things on this site are active regardless of your cookie choice, and are not cookies our banner can gate:

Google Fonts — loaded from Google's servers on every page, which sends your IP address to Google.
Affiliate click logging — when you click a /go/ link, we log the click server-side (affiliate, browser, device type, IP address, destination, tracking ID, referrer, timestamp) before redirecting you. This is not a browser cookie and isn't affected by your choice here.

Affiliate tracking (on the affiliate's own site)

Awin, Adtraction, Tradedoubler, Impact, CJ Affiliate, FlexOffers — once you're redirected to one of these companies' own websites, they may set their own cookie there to track the referral and pay us a commission. This cookie is set by their domain, not ours, and is outside what this banner controls.

Controlling cookies

Use the "Cookie settings" link in the footer of any page to reopen the banner and change your choice for the newsletter signup form. You can also delete cookies and local storage directly from your browser settings, though this may affect your experience on this and other sites.
