How this blog makes money and why it's free.

The short version

Some links on Kronor & Beyond are affiliate links. If you click one and sign up for a product or service, we may earn a commission at no extra cost to you. We only link to products we would genuinely recommend to a friend moving to Sweden.

How affiliate links work

When you click an affiliate link, a tracking cookie is placed in your browser. If you complete a signup or purchase within the cookie window, the affiliate network records the referral and pays us a commission. The price you pay is never affected.

Which posts contain affiliate links

Every post that contains affiliate links displays a clear notice near the top stating that the post contains affiliate links.

Our editorial policy

• We recommend products based on fit for the reader, not commission size.
• When the best product for a reader has no affiliate program, we recommend it anyway and say so clearly.
• Every review includes a Who should NOT use this section.
• We never use urgency or scarcity language.
• We never promise returns or income from financial products.
• Fee comparisons always include the date they were checked.

Swedish marketing law

This disclosure is made in accordance with the Swedish Marketing Act and requires that commercial content including affiliate links be clearly identifiable as advertising.
